The concept is that a small wearable camera will project numbers and letter onto your fingers. Your hands will be facing you palms up. Numbers will be assigned to the forefinger and letters to the other fingers. You will use your thumb to indicate the letter or number you want to “press” and the camera will record the intensity of the pressure. Intensity would most probably control capitalization but the reports do not state this directly.
While innovative, this could be yet another reason to ban typing and walking to prevent accidents. Perhaps the camera could be adjusted to look ahead and warn the user of oncoming obstacles.
This idea could get very interesting when it goes public.
Casinos will probably ban the device. If casinos did not ban the device, then card counting and checking the odds on any bet would give the wearer a definite advantage over the house.
People will have to wait and see what form the device takes until the initial presentation of the final version.
