A justice seminar: Justice in the Burbs

Have a heart for justice issues? Want to find out more about how you can get involved in your community?

We all have been given a sacred responsibility by God to be engaged in the world around us, serving and loving others. This justice seminar, at Grace Community Church, 5504 East 146th Street, Noblesville, IN 46062, on Saturday, July 24th 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., will feature speaker Will Sampson, author of the book Justice in the Burbs.

Authors, Will and Lisa Sampson, have always lived in the suburbs. In fact, they would say they are a product of the burbs. But as they themselves began to realize, living in the suburbs can oftentimes create a real disconnect from the “outside” world of poverty and issues of social justice. Their book helps continue the conversation of what it looks like to be the hands and feet of Jesus wherever you are, including the suburbs.
