A howling good time at the 'Howl-O-Ween' Pet Parade this weekend

This Saturday, the Community Recreation Center is the place to be with your pooch. The Schaumburg Park District is offering a howling good time with the “Howl-O-Ween” Pet Parade. This event is designed for dogs only and includes many fun activities. Does your dog like to dress up? Then the costume contest is right for you. Maybe you have a high-energy pup that loves to catch Frisbees or tennis balls. There is a competition for that, too, as well as an agility course. An obedience workshop and an area for free play are also part of the program.

This is the second year Schaumburg Park District has held this event. With the fantastic response they had last year, they are making this one better than and just as fun as last year. It is a great place for dog parents to meet with each other and give their dogs some socialization time.

Don’t have a dog, but would like to? There will also be pet adoption opportunities.
