Another Hanna-Barbera blockbuster, Scooby-Doo was introduced to the world on September 8, 1969. One of the longest running cartoons of all time, Scooby-Doo, Where are You! was like a Hardy Boys novel lifted from the printed page, characters massaged, and streamed into a video delight.
Scooby, for short, became the main character. It was never meant that way, simply evolved from the strength of his witty personality.
He was always accompanied by his teenage friends in their “Mystery Machine” when embarking on his spooky adventures and, even though he scared easily, and he was always hungry, Scooby nevertheless ended up on the proper side of danger.
Mystery, Inc., as they called themselves sought the truth about paranormal sites and situations. Often, they found the influences of evil and/or greedy people disguised as spirits guiding the trickery that distorted the normally verifiable.
