‘A Haunted House’ star Marlon Wayans brings the laughs to the ‘Today’ show

Marlon Wayans star and writer of the new horror-comedy flick “A haunted House” brought his unique sense of humor to the fourth hour of the “Today” show with hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb on Friday morning. Wayans had the hosts laughing hysterically as they discussed his movie which opens today around the country.

In the film Wayans and actress Essence Atkins portray a young couple who move into their dream home only to discover it’s occupied by a demon. The comedian and actor says this project is nothing like the “Scary Movie” franchise he and his famous siblings were associated with over ten years ago.

“It’s more of horror-comedy with romantic and paranormal moments. It’s basically “Paranormal Activity” if it happened to a black couple. “
