We SoCal residents are blessed with a great many amenities. From the climate to the people. From the food selections to entertainment. And if you are a Beatles fan on any level then you are hip to the fact that we are blessed with a great group of Beatles Tribute bands.
Tomorrow night in Downtown Fullerton "A Hard Day's Night: A Tribute to The Beatles" will rock the Continental Room with the sounds and harmonic vocal glory of those four lads from Liverpool.
The regular lads that make up this tribute are Frank Mendoca as Paul, Gilbert Bonilla as John, Omar Olivares as George and Rolo Sandoval as Ringo. And if you are lucky enough to attend a performance of the full tribute show you will also be entertained by George Trullinger as Ed Sullivan.
If you have never experience a Beatles tribute band, A Hard Days Night will certainly satisfy your Beatles craving. As musicians go these fellas do not disappoint. A tight, solid group that convey the spirit and intensity of what a Beatles LIVE performance might have been like during their touring years between 1963 and 1966. I have had the experience of attending two previous performances of HDN at the Continental Room and what I equate the experience to is probably what it may have been like to see and hear The Beatles during their Hamburg Germany years. The CR is a very small venue with an even smaller "clam Shell" style stage area that leaves the band very little room to perform. Those two scenarios result in a very close-quarter experience, oh and one other thing...the band plays LOUD!! It's an incredible experience.
