A group of doctors are speaking out for health care reform

The Mad as Hell Doctors in Seattle at the beginning of a national tour  to explain why they support a Single Payer medical system.

A grassroots movement, started by a few doctors in Oregon, is moving its way across the country.

Their motto is "Health Care for People-Not Profit".  Their goal is to lobby in Washington, D.C. on September 30, 2009 for a bill known as H.R. 676 sponsored by Rep. John Conyers (D-MI) and Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH). This bill supports a single payer health care system

These Mad As Hell Doctors (MAHD) are traveling in a used Winnebago decorated for the cause.  Stops have been planned along the way to garner support.  Each visit has been documented on video and placed on You Tube for easy viewing.  They are also leaving updates on Facebook and Twitter.

So far, they have over 4,500 fans on Facebook and 330 followers on Twitter and people are talking.

Their next stop is in Nashville, Tennesse on September 20, 2009.
