A Great Use for Tube Socks in the Winter

If you like to save energy by keeping your thermostat low in the colder months, you have undoubtedly noticed that a heavy sweater does not help very much when you have to sit on a cold toilet seat. In Japan, there are a variety of toilet seat covers, as well as toilets with heated seats. My favorite toilet seat covers are washable fuzzy covers that are slightly adhesive on the underside and simply adhere to the top of the seat.

I just opened an email from a friend that had a picture of a u-shaped toilet seat with a tube sock on each side. Brilliant! I had to share the idea asap. Of course, this does not work with 0-shaped seats.
