If you took photos of Ringo Starr and the All Starr Band during this summer's tour, you could win a pair of Ringo Starr autographed drumsticks. Ringo's official website, www.ringostarr.com, is holding a contest for the best photo taken during the tour.

Ringo will pick the winner. The winning photo will be featured on his website and the photographer will win a pair of autographed drumsticks.

Email one photo to ringophoto2010@gmail.com with your name, address, phone number and email address. Be sure to include the date and location of the show where the photo was taken. The contest ends Nov. 30. The winner will be announced early December.

The site is also looking for video of the Paul McCartney/Ringo Starr “Birthday” song at Radio City Music Hall for possible use in a Ringo video. Send the footage to ringovideo2010@gmail.com.

For more information, see Ringo's official website (www.ringostarr.com).

Exactly what I was thinking! No photos allowed! I even tried to sneak, but the ushers would shine flashlights at your camera to ruin it. I think it was a Ringo policy and not a venue policy too... Strange that they'd have a contest for it now.
