A great Brazilian guava sweet recipe for you

More Photos

We all like sweets. Although some people like one kind of fruits and other people like a different kind but here you have the opportunity to try this delicious guava sweet recipe, in a Brazilian way to enjoy and share with your family and friends.

INGREDIENTS:
1 pound of ripe guavas
1 cup of sugar
2 cups of water
1 tablespoon of cloves
1 teaspoon of cinnamon

DIRECTIONS:
After washing your guavas cut them in halves and take all the seeds off using a tablespoon. Than cut them in round pieces, add all the ingredients above in your cooking pan and cook it in a low flame burner until it gets soft and the water changes to a kind of syrup.
Let it cool off before you bring it to the fridge. Once it's been in the fridge for about 1:30 / 2 hours it's time to serve. Use these directions just like you'd do with my green papaya sweet with coconut recipe.

IMPORTANT TIPS:
- Make sure to take all the seeds off them in order to have a clean dessert.

This is a simple but different and delicious dessert recipe for you to enjoy.

Umm, this recipe sounds simple and tasty, Paulo, though I cannot recall having had guava in the past many years. Lol! And I am very much into using heavy spices in my cooking, especially cinnamon and nutmeg, they are my top two spices I often use. As a matter of fact, I use these spices in sweet and savory dishes.
