Do you remember how the "Twilight" saga concluded? It finished with a movie marathon that concluded with a 10 p.m. showing of the finale, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2?" The same is set to happen with "Die Hard," although it's not known if "A Good Day to Die Hard" is the finale.
Twentieth Century Fox announced on Tuesday, Jan. 15 that it will bring the entire series back to theaters for one day only: Wednesday, Feb. 13, the day before the official opening, Valentine's Day, 2013.
The marathon will include the entire series, "Die Hard (1988), "Die Hard 2: Die Harder" (1990),"Die Hard with a Vengeance" (which co-starred Samuel L. Jackson, 1995), "Live Free or Die Hard" (2007) and the new film, "A Good Day to Die Hard."
Things are a bit sketchy for now, but details will follow. The new film is officially described as follows:
When secret CIA operative, Jack McClane, gets into trouble in Moscow, Russia, John has to travel to foreign soil to help his son out of prison. However, when there, terrorists use the circumstances behind Jack's arrest to further their agenda of a nuclear weapons heist, and the father-son duo learn that, despite their differences, they must work together to stop them.
Directed by John Moore and written by Roderick Thorp and Skip Woods, "A Good Day to Die Hard" sees Bruce Willis reprising his iconic role of John McClane, and Jai Courtney as his estranged son, Jack.
It is set for a February 14, 2013 release.
