A fun and educational outing

I wanted to share a fun field-trip with you. It has been a while since we have been to this great museum, I remember that all four of the children enjoyed it, there was something for everyone. I am now down to the two youngest children and decided it would be fun to go again when I got wind of this special homeschool day they were having. I figure that is a bonus and I seem to do better at getting to an event if there is an actual date when others are going and there are extra things to do. Oh plus it is free, free always speaks very loudly to me especially on a tight budget.

The National Museum of the Marine Corps will be hosting a Homeschool Day on March 6, 2014 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. They will have special education stations set up in the galleries just for Homeschool teachers and students. The theme is: Marine Corps History through Music and Art.

No registration is required. The parking and admission are both free.
