When you were a child, I'm sure you wanted the most awesome toy of the year. I wanted the Game Boy, the one that looked like a gray brick with a green rectangle for a screen, and the Pokemon Blue game, since I thought Blastoise looked cool with water cannons coming out of his shoulders. You may have wanted some GI Joe action figures, Barbie's Malibu playhouse, or a Power Rangers action figure.
Fifteen laters here I am looking at my Nintendo DS charging, acknowledging me with its amber LED light. Some things don't change.
And that's why my life is beautiful. I'm 22 and I enjoy playing video games.

I'm sure everyone has some insecurity about themself, even that bronze, bulging titan flexing in the supermarket line. I always hear guys complaining about how their partner count is too low, or how their penis is too small. I always hear girls yelping about how their butt is too big, or how their lips are too small.
I've got a gift for those people.
The most important gift you can give yourself is self-acceptance.
Having that belief is the fundamental core of all inner game. WIth it, you rely on no external factors to validate yourself. You become nonreactive to people trying to bring you down. And you can be easily self-entertained.
I'm not saying to eliminate those insecurities, but accept them. And if you want to change them, make sure you're changing them for yourself and not anyone else.
I know people typically make New Year's Resolutions, goals for change in the new year. I'll have an
article for that, keep an eye out for it.
Merry Christmas to you!
