It is believed that Malachi paid Darius to kill Miller Beck who murdered Walt's wife Martha. Darius claimed that he was beaten & scalped by David Ridges before he died. Malachi wants to buy the red pony so he can run his money laundering business. He finally told Henry that Darius was in the state of Connecticut when Miller was killed.

Henry is accused of murdering Miller Beck & he will go on trial in two weeks. Cady Longmire is defending him & she isn't ready. Henry told Walt what he knows about Darius & we still don't know who paid Miller Beck to murder Martha.

When the court served divorce papers to Vic. She decided to go through with it & Walt finally told her that he wants her to stay on as his deputy. Their close working relationship has created strong feelings for each other. Vic's marriage to Sean stopped Walt from sharing his true emotions. He hasn't yet, but in his eyes we can see that he cares a lot for Vic.

David Ridges was alive & now he is really dead. He dressed up as a “white warrior” to attack & kill Walt. David jumped from his horse & landed on Walt's knife. David used old tribal myths to torment & confuse Branch whom he shot near a burial site dressed as a “white warrior.” David was connected to Jacob Nighthorse, who hired Malachi, who continues to blame Walt for sending him to prison.
