“Longmire” (A&E) can be seen each Monday evening at 10/9 p.m. The final cable TV ratings are in for the episode called, “Wanted Man” which aired June 30, 2014. It garnered 3.234 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.5 in the all important 18 to 49 adult demographic. The modern western has been holding steady above 3 million total viewers each week. The numbers may even be higher due to DVR recordings plus which website accurately reports TV ratings.
“WWE entertainment” (USA) grabbed 4.490 million TV viewers overall & won the Monday night ratings race at 10 p.m. It reached 1.6 with adults. “Murder in the First” (TNT) came in right behind “Longmire.” It nabbed 2.493 million TV viewers overall & reached 0.4 with adults.
The A&E “Longmire” Facebook page posted a message on the death of Joe Tuck who worked on the TV show. Hollywood blogger named Nikki Finke reported his name as Gary Tuck. Here is the A&E post, “Our thoughts are with the family of Joe Tuck, a driver for ‘Longmire’ and a valued member of the ‘Longmire’ team, who sadly passed away recently. On behalf of the entire cast, crew, studio and network, we offer the Tuck family and Joe’s friends our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences on this terrible loss.”
The New Mexico local teamsters “492” union is investigating Tuck's death. He fell asleep at the wheel of his truck & was killed in a roll over. He had been working long hours on the “Longmire” TV set. The third TV season just wrapped up in the state of New Mexico.
There is no preview of the 6th episode for season three at the official A&E website. This is what we now know about “Longmire.” Branch Connally has gone a little crazy searching for a dead man named David Ridges. Branch resorted to the torture of a man he thinks knows where David is. He still believes David shot him at a burial site where David was dressed up as a spiritual “white warrior.” David committed suicide, but Branch is convinced he is still alive.
Malachi got out of county jail on parole & visited Henry Standing Bear. Walt Longmire had just testified against Malachi's release. Henry was beaten up in county jail which was ordered by Malachi who wants revenge against Walt. He was arrested by Walt & Henry on the federal charge of extortion that sent him to jail.
A guy named Hector was literally scalped & died from his bloody wounds. He told Vic, Walt & Branch that he was attacked by David Ridges. Meanwhile, Walt is searching for the person who paid a meth addict to kill his wife Martha in Denver. That meth addict was also murdered & evidence followed Henry from Denver to Absaroka county. He is now going on trial for murder.
