A&E is going to allow Phil Robertson to film ‘Duck Dynasty’

Duck Dynasty” has been a hot topic in the headlines these past few weeks when Phil Robertson was suspended from filming new episodes based on his anti-gay comments in a GQ interview. The Hollywood Reporter posted an article Dec. 27 that confirms A&E is lifting the suspension and allowing Phil Robertson to continue filming new episodes of the hit reality TV show.

In the statement that A&E released they admitted they acted hastily but want it to be clear that the comments made are the personal beliefs of Phil Robertson and not the views of the network. The Robertson family has said they would never promote hate. A&E plans on using this opportunity to promote unity and tolerance among all people.

The suspension of Phil Robertson was so short lived it will not effect season 5 of “Duck Dynasty” at all. No episodes have been filmed without him.

The new episodes of “Duck Dynasty” will begin airing in January on A&E.
