A 'drag' of a day for Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber’s problems seemed like a joke until he made national news this morning when he was arrested in Miami. Bieber didn’t seem to take the whole thing too seriously as his mug shot featured him with a huge smile on his face. The Biebs couldn’t physically face a judge for some reason, as his bail hearing was done via video conference, where the singer appeared in an orange jump suit, broadcast on national television.
What we know is that Justin was arrested for drag racing and failing a sobriety test. Keep in mind that Bieber is still only nineteen, so he is held to juvenile rules. Justin did admit to having alcohol, prescription drugs, and marijuana in his system. He was arrested and put in jail for a total of about 10 hours. He was released on $2,500 bond and rode away from the correctional facility atop an SUV waving to fans and photographers. The singer, who came to fame at a young age, is said to blame his mother for giving him prescription drugs.
Notably, there has been no comment from anyone in Bieber’s camp as they sort all of this out. Justin was charged with driving under the influence, resistance to arrest, and having an expired license. This comes just one day after Justin’s mom, Pattie Mallette, asked for “prayers for her son” in an interview with The Sun. According to Perez Hilton, Justin’s father, Jeremy Bieber, was reportedly part of the brigade who blocked Miami streets for the drag racing that took place around 3 AM.
According to Access Hollywood, Justin’s manager, Scooter Braun, has given the singer an ultimatum “Get help or I’m done.” The question is whether or not Justin himself knows the severity of his actions. It seems that Justin hasn’t met many consequences aside from this very short stint in jail. What do you think is next for Bieber?
