A Daily Word from the Word for Thursday, March 20, 2014

“Then God said, ‘Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth’; and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. So the evening and the morning were the third day.” – Genesis 9:11-13

Today’s message will be a hard message for some to hear. It will bring comfort, direction, and confirmation to some; yet for others, will bring warning. But I make no apologies for speaking what God has commanded me to speak; nor do I take the things of the Lord lightly. My responsibility, first and foremost, is to God Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth, Whom I serve with all of my being. I have been travailing long in my spirit because of this Word from the Lord.

This 2014th year is a double-portion year for all the inhabitants on this earth—those who are God’s children, and those who are not. However, the double-portion for those who belong to the Lord will be far different than the double-portion given to those who are not His.

The number 14 means “double: duplicate; reproduce; recreate; disciple; servant; bond-slave” (Ira Milligan, Understanding the Dreams You Dream, © 2010). Depending on whether you are a genuine son and daughter (a disciple) of the Most High God, or a bond-slave to the world (the devil), will determine what double-portion harvest you will reap this season. The roosters are coming home to roost, family. And those things, those “roosters” that have been released will now find their way home into the lives of those from whom they were hatched.

Before the double portion is released, a separation must take place: a separating of the the sheep (God’s true sons and daughters), and the goats (those who belong to the devil). Matthew 25:33 yields this sword of separation and judgment as it speaks: “And He [Jesus] will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.

A sifting must also occur to winnow out the wheat from the chaff. Matthew 3:12 testifies of this truth as it illustrates “His [Jesus] winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

This 3rd month of this 20th day of this 2014 year marks the first day of Spring. The number 3 means to “Conform: obey; copy; imitate; likeness; tradition” (Milligan). This day contains a double ‘20,’ where 20 is God’s Holiness; and more specifically “Holy: tried and approved (or unholy: tried and found wanting)” (Milligan). Nothing, no thing, escapes the judgment of God. There comes a point where God’s mercy must give way to His judgment, in order for a greater opportunity for repentance for those to turn from their wicked ways, repent, receive this mercy, and be saved. Galatians 6:7 warns us “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.”

This is a season of exposure. Those who have been doing things in the dark will now be exposed by God’s Holiness—His Light. This is a season of separation, exposure, and double-portion. “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter” (Isaiah 5:20).

Let us do what the psalmist King David did, and cry out to the Lord to “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting” (Psalm 139:23-24).

I pray that you be on the sweet side, the right side of the Lord for this season; and not placed on the left, exposed as a goat, and judged accordingly.

Father, we repent for our wicked ways. We cry out to You for Your mercy. Create in us a clean heart, Oh God, and renew a right spirit within us (Psalm 51:10). By your Most Holy Spirit, cause conviction to rise up within us, that we are made holy because You are Holy (1 Peter 1:15-16). Help us to stand firm on Your Foundation, and no longer tolerate or acquiesce to the filth and wickedness of this world; for when we do, we are just as guilty as the goats. Make this country great again, Almighty Creator! Cleanse the house! Cleanse every office of government in this great land, and at all levels: national, state, and local. Cleanse our homes, Oh God, and cleanse our hearts. We cry out to You, “Father, forgive us, for we know not what we do, and we turn to You for repentance, forgiveness, reconciliation, knowledge, and wisdom. (Luke 23:34). We cry out that the eyes of our understanding be enlightened by Your Most Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:18). In Jesus Most Merciful Name, we thank You that we are in right standing with You because of Your Son, Amen and Amen.

Take action! Challenge your thinking! Choose to ask God to search your heart, and expose any wickedness, so that He can then deal with it, and remove it far from you. Choose to enter a season of examination by studying the Word of God more deeply and thoughtfully, and asking God’s Holy Spirit to breathe on you and reveal the truths of the Father concerning you. And continue to fight the good fight of remaining a genuine child of the Most High Father, and standing on His right; for God, your Perfect Portion, has already given you the victory!

If you have never received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, I encourage you to do it today, right now, by saying this prayer out loud: “Jesus, forgive me for my sins. I am sorry. I truly desire to be saved and reconciled back to God, my Father, through You. I receive Your sinless Blood as payment in full for my sins—past, present, and future. I now call You my Lord and Savior, and invite You to live within my heart, and to permanently live within me. I make You Lord over me and over my life from this moment on. Amen.” Congratulations! You are now a child of God, made whole and made new, by the Blood of Jesus Christ!

God tells us that we are blessed to be a blessing (Genesis 12:2). Be a blessing to someone by sending them this word of encouragement. If God did not already put someone in your spirit and on your heart that needs to read this uplifting message from above, simply ask your Heavenly Father who to bless on today. Forward this message right now by email, facebook, or twitter.

Jesus is coming soon!

May God Bless you and keep you always.

With warmest regards,

And, in service of The Most High King,
