The annual Hochelaga Kennel Club’s May 24th long weekend Championship Dog Show and Obedience Trials is a dog lovers’ paradise. Held at the Dollard des Ormeaux Civic Centre, the area becomes a temporary home to the dogs and their human counterparts. With trailers and cars everywhere, barking and dog play areas set up, there is no doubt as to what is going on indoors.
The All Breed Dog Show took place over the course of three days and had a competition area and a staging/grooming area inside the arena. Visitors were welcome to walk among the competitors and meet the breeders and learn about the kennel club. For a dog lover, it was impossible to take two steps without falling down to their knees to coo over a cute K9 face.
