Lexi, a four-year-old German shepherd mix, was left at the Los Angeles County Animal Care and Control in Baldwin Park, Calif., on Oct. 11.
Lexi's heartbreak over what has happened is readily apparent on her face, and in her expressive eyes.
Pure and simple, betrayal - and hurt - and the question which cannot be answered - why?
Why did you load me into a car and bring me here?
Why did you leave?
Why aren't you coming to take me home?
What did I do wrong...
The following is shared about Lexi:
I am an absolutely sweet 4 yr old spayed female tan/white German Shepherd mix. My owner left me here on October 11. I am great with small children.
Lexi is not a puppy and Lexi is not a purebred - simple facts which make her odds of leaving this facility alive, slim.
Please take a moment to be a hero to Lexi - share her information with the hopes that it reaches someone who can help save her life...before she is gone forever.
