This morning's low at Philly International of 27 at 6am was enough to allow freezing rain to occur for the morning commute. Once milder air pushed in by the late morning it was just plain old rain while 0.36" was recorded in the ol' bucket after a high of 42 set at 4pm.
So the rain is all over with as the frontal boundary pushed to the east, but we will deal with some fog in the early evening as temperatures hold steady before weak high pressure and a partly cloudy sky drop them around freezing come morning. This means there may be some black ice possible for the morning commute on Thursday.
Thursday itself call be decent with sunshine giving to clouds in the late afternoon as highs approach 50. Overnight temperatures will hold steady as a warm front pushes north and may actually rise a degree or two come sunrise Friday. Highs will be around 60 despite an overcast day with showers and perhaps a gusty thunderstorm; this is all gone by early Saturday morning and we'll have an awesome sun-filled afternoon with highs in the middle 50s.
Sunday's not half bad either with highs in the lower 50s and a mixture of sunshine and clouds as a shortwave passes by the north.......
But then we get cold once again! The rest of the seven day can be seen at www.scottderekwx.com/forecast.html.
