Where can you go this weekend to feed your craving for fine wine and great music? The 10th Annual Wine & Music Festival, that’s where!

On Saturday, Sept. 6 and on Sunday, Sept. 7, this widely acclaimed annual celebration of the grape harvest will be taking place from noon to 6 p.m. at the Gateway Gettysburg Complex. Enjoy hundreds of different wine samples from over 20 Pennsylvania wineries while savoring the tastes and sounds of autumn in Adams County. You will also delight in the versatile sounds and styling of live musical performers, on site, during the event.

Whether you enjoy banjo banter or the rock hard hits of rock music, you’ll find something in this year’s music lineup to get you tapping to the beat. On Saturday, from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., Half Serious, one of the region’s most sought after cover bands, will be rocking a lineup of melodies from the 70s to today. Follow this up from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. with the sounds of the 80s from the band known as The Reagan Years. From 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. closing, Brittany Opperman, a young and talented country artist and native from Gettysburg will take to the stage. Country singer Michael Christopher will open the performances on Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. followed by some Blues tunes from the Bluesman Tom Larsen Dynamic Duo from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Then, enjoy the sounds of Modern Americana/Folk-Rock with the Muddy Crows to close the show between the 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. finish.

In addition to wine and music, other great vendors in arts, crafts and food will also be onsite during the two-day event. Ticket passes for one or both days are available, in advance, online with discounted tickets. New for this year’s festival, Gettysburg Tours will be offering a free back and forth shuttle service from various parking lots within the Gateway Gettysburg Complex to the festival entrance.
