Jeffrey Kalinsky, owner of Jeffrey New York in Meatpacking, LBGT fundraising extraordinaire, and passionate leader of his annual fundraiser Jeffrey Fashion Cares. A very sexy evening that raises money for several unsexy, but vital LGBT charities, Jeffrey’s fundraising goals for this year are no small feat–$1 million in one evening, which is 25% more than was raised at last year’s event.
It’s 10th anniversary fundraiser is slated for April 2, 2013 on the Intrepid, Pier 86. At the April 2nd event, he will produce a fully-donated runway show of spring / summer fashion and two silent and live auctions of items donated by Prada, Chanel, YSL, Dior, Louboutin, celerity memorabilia and autographed artwork.
Some cool experiences up for grabs at the auction include: $2,000 shopping spree at Tommy Hilfiger 5th Avenue Store, 2 tickets to BCBGMAXAZRIA or HERVE LEGER Spring 2014 Fashion Show, 2 tickets to Vera Wang Spring 2014 Ready-to-Wear show, $1,000 gift card for Helmut Lang, or your very own after-hours party with all the trimmings at the Cynthia Rowley shop on Bleecker Street in the West Village.
Jeffrey Fashion Cares is also one of the best examples of making fundraising fun while not losing sight of the cause, pledging that 90% of every dollar raised goes directly to the beneficiaries rather than party expenses.
This is a event you do not want to miss! Tickets may be purchased at jeffreyfashioncares.org
