A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter, located at 420 Industrial Drive in Naperville, Illinois, works very hard practically every day of the year, making bank so that they are able to help to rescue as many animals as possible. They do so by conducting ongoing fundraising efforts and by hosting events. When people purchase or participate, A.D.O.P.T. animals benefit.
Currently they have several ongoing fundraisers that they are participating in:
· CafePress Shop: An online method of a full range of apparel items; shirts, hats, pajamas and outerwear. This gives fans the ability to don A.D.O.P.T. wear. Besides clothing, CafePress also has a variety of other items like bags, bottles, cups and calendars. Go online any day of the year to HTTP://WWW.CAFEPRESS.COM/ADOPTPETSHELTER to order your gear. When new gear comes available, announcement will be made on FACEBOOK and TWITTER. If you are interested, make sure you click ‘follow’ for their social network sites.
· TheAnimalRescueSite.com: Gives you the ability to vote every day. Once you click on the graphic contained on their webpage, make sure that you select A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter in the shelter selection box, select our great state of Illinois and then click the Search button. Click Vote in the button located next to their name. Confirm your vote and then vote daily.
· If you are an avid online shopper, you should definitely learn about GOODSEARCH in order to raise money for the Shelter just by searching the web and then do your shopping online.
· If you shop USBONES.com, A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter will get 25% of sales donated to them.
· Cash for Critters raises money for the Pet Shelter through their PRINTER CARTRIDGE RECYCLING PROGRAM. Check it out; save the earth and animals at the same time.
· The final current ongoing fundraiser is when you BUY A NEW ENTERTAINMENT BOOK TODAY! When you do, A.D.O.P.T. will get money for their animals.
Their next event, a 5K walk, “Makin’ Strides For Strays,” that will bring in much needed cash for their animals is in the works. It is scheduled to take place in 67 days and approximately 10 hours on Sunday, May 5th. It will begin at the Fifth Avenue Station located at 200 East 5th Avenue in Naperville. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the Walk begins at 8:30 a.m. Right now the 2013 Pledge Sheet is under construction.
