People like Bud Welch whose daughter died in the Oklahoma City bombing and David Kaczynski, brother of the Unibomber, are some of the voices that have joined with the bishops in this campaign to end the use of death penalty. The stories and narrative highlight the flaws in the death penalty and movingly advocate that Catholics oppose the death penalty in order to build a culture of life.

LOL--let's look at it this way,OK ? ny doesn't execute convicted murderers,cold blooded killers and nyc IS the abortion capitol of the world---there is no co-relation and never will be either.---------
You want a culture of life ? Start by informing the lib/cafeteria Catholics on all politicians abortion votes,from PEBO on down...Catholics are prohibited from aborting,procuring them,paying for them and endorsing abortionist politicians, etc........You want a culture of life ? start preaching and teaching from the "pulpit" on the sanctity of marriage,the error of contracepting and sex before marriage,co-habitation etc.......WHY is the death penalty now an issue ?? are the illegals now passee ?
