A colorful date for the LA couple

Despite how wonderful your relationship may be, you're going to get bored every once-in-awhile. Recently the boy and I found ourselves in this very predicament and I wasn't about to let it get the best of us. So, we changed into jeans and t-shirts and headed out to 233 S. Beverly Drive to a place called, "Color Me Mine." Located in Beverly Hills (though there are many other locations all over the world found at, http://colormemine.com/locations.tpl?pc=Countries&cart=125361016548&Studio=corp) "Color Me Mine" is a great date for you, you're other half and (if applicable) the kids!

"Color Me Mine" is an activity that allows customers to select one (or more) of their pottery selections to paint and make as your own. They have items such as, plates, serving platters, coffee cups and vases. There are over 400 pieces you can choose from, so your options are limitless. After you make your selection, you spend the next hour or so painting your... masterpiece. It sounds childish, which it can be, especially with the table full of kids that's bound to be next to the two of you, but it's also a lot of fun and more importantly, fun spent together!

The cost for adults is $10 plus the cost of the item you're painting. The ceramic pieces range from $5-$65 per item. Should you have children, their cost is only $6. "Color Me Mine" is opened seven days a week from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Due to the fact that the pottery must be fired in a kiln after you've painted it, there is a three day wait for your items once you've completed them.

My boyfriend and I made ourselves two cups. I made his and he made mine. Cheesy, yes, but I smile every time I use the cup. With Valentine's Day around the corner, this is a great way to spend the day together, or a great inexpensive gift for the occasion. But with nine days left before the "big day," time is running short. Head to your local "Color Me Mine" as quick as you can. :) And for more information, please check out their website at: http://www.colormemine.com/

Have fun and happy painting. :)
