In “Cholera,” the next episode of “Hell On Wheels,” airing Sept. 14, 2013, Cullen Bohannon (Anson Mount) must find fresh water to help save his employees from dying, according to the Atlanta Black Star.
If he fails, the cholera outbreak could his crew and those around them devastated.
In addition, Thomas “Doc” Durant (Colm Meaney) faces political ramifications for his actions, according to TV Equals.
AMC’s website notes that “Hell On Wheels” features Bohannon, a former confederate soldier, who is trying to “escape his demons from the recently fought Civil War.” His nemesis, Durant, is a “greedy entrepreneur taking full advantage of the changing times,” while Elam Ferguson (Common) is “an emancipated slave working to achieve true freedom in a world entrenched with prejudice.”
The series garnered an Emmy nomination in 2012 for outstanding original main title theme music, according to the site.
“Cholera” is episode 7 of season 3 of “Hell On Wheels” and airs Saturday night at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
