This year it all took place on December 19, 2013, once again on the 4th floor of the gorgeous Ritz-Carlton in Fort Lauderdale overlooking the mesmerizing blue ocean. It was a welcome break from the busy workday.

Over 200 guests were excited to participate not only in a tantalizing luncheon of delectable foods but to also take part in raising much needed funding for a very worthwhile cause. An auction was held with some of the most enchanting items up for bid. A NAPA Valley VIP Wine Collectors' Weekend for Two, a weekend for two to Las Vegas, exquisite jewelry, iconic photos of historic Miami Beach spots such as The Colony Hotel, sports memorabilia and more were all part of the bidding. Steps away were glamorous handbags that were part of an amazing raffle "Call The Girls, It's Time To Go Shopping," a package for 10 girlfriends compliments of The Colonnade Outlets at Sawgrass Mills and also a gorgeous sterling silver necklace from Daoud’s Fine Jewelry. In addition, as guests were awaiting the luncheon to begin, plenty of shopping took place. Sparkling jewelry, unique hand-blown glass and hair accessories were great stocking stuffers. As the guests enjoyed cocktails and socializing, Lifestyles Magazine gave them a photo opportunity to send self-photos direct to their Facebook page. Guests were also greeted by the newest and most stylish Cadillacs in gleaming red and winter white.

Plenty of media from FashionOneTV and Eye On South Florida along with The Boca Raton Tribune and Lifestyle Media Group were on hand and eager to interview those that continue to make a difference in the lives of others.

The greatest thrill of the charitable afternoon was the luncheon and fashion show. A very special guest was present to open the show in a most heartwarming manner. The vivacious Monique Abbadie , from season #4 of NBC's 'The Voice' on Team Shakira sang a debut song "No Fear" that she dedicated to a friend recently diagnosed with MS. It was a beautiful tribute. CBS4 Entertainment Reporter, Lisa Petrillo, had the task of introductions and gave a short speech as well. Jill Horowitz and Lynne McGrath were event co-chairs and 'Fearless Volunteer of the Year' went out to Giuliana Hirshson. Generous sponsors included Novartis, BB&T, LivingSand, Tito's Vodka and many more. All the models had their hair professionally styled by Style Bar Day Spa and they looked absolutely beautiful.

Then it was time for the fashions. The runway came alive with outfits from 'The Colonnade Outlets' at Sawgrass Mills. We saw everything from eye-catching swimwear to bright-colored tropical casualwear to evening favorites, stylish dresses, form-fitting skirts with elegant blouses, simple sheaths, the little black dress and pants that easily transition from day to night. Having fun and looking ever so lovely was top model Shannon Rusbuldt, Founder of Fashion's Fight.

There could not have been a better ending than the edible centerpieces created and donated by Jaime Hage and Allstar Gourmet Cupcake Factory. Of course, the woman who always makes this annual event such an overwhelming success is Nathalie Sloane, one of the miracle workers behind the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation of South Florida.
