Today we are featuring a poem from our Spokane Cat Club’s 2012 Poetry book. Many people who own many cats will see and appreciate the humor of today’s featured poem.
House o' Many Cats
Cat on the sofa
Cat on the chair
Cat climbing the curtains
Cats everywhere
Cat on the counter
Cat in windowsill
Cat in the corner
Spitting out his pill
Cat on the table
Cat in the tub
Cat in a lap
getting a belly rub
Cat on the stairs
Cat on the screen door
Cat through the cat flap
Cat on the floor
Cat on the refrigerator
Cat pulling on a cord
Cat yawning by the TV
looking very bored
Cat on the computer
Cat on the area rug
Cat on the dresser
looking mighty snug
Cat on the mantle
Cat on the book case
Cat on the run
so he can steal your space
Cat on the keyboard
Cat on the book you read
Cat on the pillow
Where she begins to knead
Cat on the washed car
Cat on the shelf
Cat on the sink
Smiling to himself
Cat in the cupboard
Cat with lots of hair
laying on the outfit,
you are planning to wear
Cat on the roof top
Cat out in the snow
Cat on the chandelier
swinging to and fro.
Cat on the newspaper
Cat in every drawer
Cat looking for mischief
and always finding more
Cat on the piano
Cat on the welcome mat
Everywhere you look
You will see a cat!
