We do not run a patient assistance program, and we do not supply medicine or financial assistance. The information on the website at www.NeedyMeds.org is available anonymously and free of charge.
This a call for participation not only for New Jersey residents but for anyone who can assist the uninsured or under insured. In New Jersey, the Bloomfield Department of Health & Human Services, helps with such things as finding a program, completing the forms and working with physicians who must sign the forms.
Also, there 15 disease based assistance, programs are offered in the state but there will always be a need for more.

There are many different types of drug discount cards. Some offer significant savings while others are not a good deal. Drug company discount cards offer discounts only for certain medications while others offer a wide range of discounts. You may find it best to use certain cards for some medications and others for other medications. Pharmaceutical companies such as Merck and Pfizer do participate.
In New Jersey there are 106 Free/low-cost/sliding-scale clinics where residents can get assistance.
