Back to school is in full swing, homework is starting to surface regularly and then there's the practices to make.
Football, Tennis, Volleyball, Cheerleading...does it all ever end?
Fundraisers, back to school night, fee night...yes, that too.
September seems to be the Christmas of educational needs that include clothing and supplies out the yin-yang.
It does get better, I promise, it really does.
This is part of the role in being a parent. We have to accept the responsiblities that come with the package of having a child. Educating them is premiere in their foresight to embrace the future. Exposing them to different things and environments that promote positive forums increase their versatility. Leadership is cultivated by what they see, hear and listen to. Not every child will adapt to what you may feel is right for them but listen to what they have to say. You may be surprised at what they find interesting.
Television is a form of entertainment, but get them outside for some fresh air. Break that stagnant cycle of being in the house. Take them to a recreational football game, soccer game or allow them to particpate in an after-school activity if they are interested. Expand their options and watch how they blossom from the experience.
Sunday walks around the neighborhood or at the park make for favorite memories as well.
