Another part of the mythology series, this time we're going to explore the Armenian myth and legends.
Amanoro in Armenian legend was a spring goddess and Anahit was known as the fertility goddess. Another goddess was Anatha Baetyl who was known as the lion goddess.Anush was the mother of dragons and Aray was the war god. Aramazd was known as the supreme god and Arusyak was the love goddess. Astlik was the sky goddess and Barsamnin was the sky god and god of weather. Erkir was the earth goddess and Haldi was a guardian god. Mir was the fire god or sun god. Selardi was known as the moon god and Tork was a hideous mountain god.
Hotot was very evil creatures that live in rivers and marshes, they are known for luring children to their death. Jaralez some accounts call them a race of dog-like people and a spirit who licks the wounds and heals them. Nhang is a malevolent spirit that is sometimes seen as a seal or mermaid. Shara was a storm demon and Van in myth and legend was a feathered dragon.
Torx were demons that caused earthquakes. Dev was known as a huge spirit and Er was a warrior that came back from the dead. Erwand was a king believe or not who's father was a dragon. So that's just some of the legends and lore that come from the Armenian culture.
