As a boutique it can be described with many adjectives that are associated with artists such as unique, beautiful, adventurous, bold, fine use of colors, dramatic displays and so much more. Loft 1513 is an enigmatic store that carries 45 designers’ unique looks. The store has a wide array of vintage inspired dresses, haute couture separates, modern and eclectic clothes and accessories. They also carry romantic wedding dresses which has a thespian inspiration and magic. But, that isn’t the entire enigma that Loft 1513 is- Store owner Larissa Verdussen who founded the store two and a half years ago has created a one of a kind or as Larissa will say”Reincarnated designers in San Francisco. As each dress has a story to tell”! Loft 1513 carries designers who create sustainable clothing and eco friendly; each encompassing the use of fabrics, textures, cuts and designs to make the garments and accessories that are distinctive. The designers rarely make a short run of any piece however the clothes can be custom designed or made to fit for the individual; the designers are available and ready to create the perfect style for anyone who comes to the store. The store is described not just to shop but as a lifestyle: to find the perfect piece of clothing or accessory that is who you are, many events and art shows, fashion shows and the store even has its own pet dog. Things to note are that new designs are displayed daily at the store. Also, every last Thursday of the month one clothing designer and one accessory designer have the floor. You could say it is a cocktail party in their honor, featuring their fashionable line au courant with an ambience that includes a DJ, live model window show displaying fashion and also refreshments for the guests as they peruse and shop. This Thursday the 23rdthe store features Yugala Priti and Vanessa Gade styles from 6pm to 10pm
