After having her heart broken once, by Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston is finally ready to wed again. Of course, it's a two-way street, and the announcement also means that Justin Theroux is ready to wed, as well.
Theroux, 41, has been in a relationship with his "Wanderlust" co-star, Jennifer Aniston, since May of 2011. Theroux proposed to Aniston, 43, on his birthday (Aug. 10, 2012) and the couple publicly announced their engagement two days later, on Aug. 12, 2012.
Ironically, in their recent movie "Wanderlust," Aniston was not paired with Theroux, but with Paul Rudd. His character, Seth, did attempt to seduce Aniston's character, Linda, though. Unfortunately, the movie was a flop, with a budget estimated at $35 million, and a take of $21.5 million globally.
Although the "Wanderlust" co-stars began dating after shooting the film, in an interview with "Good Morning America," Aniston stated that nothing romantic happened while shooting the comedy, indicating also that the pair had known each other for some time. She said,
"Nothing happened on that movie. ... It's a rumor. It's the easy rumor, but nothing happened. We were just friends. I've known Justin for a long time. He is really cute [and] he's a great actor."
You can also see Aniston (and co-star Rudd) discuss Theroux and "Wanderlust" in the embedded video. In the clip, Aniston says that when she first saw Theroux at the camera test, she didn't recognize him.
That is, naturally, the same claim that Pitt and his long-time love, Angelina Jolie have made about their relationship. They have long claimed that nothing happened on the set of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," the movie they were paired in prior to the demise of Pitt and Aniston's five-year marriage.
This is the first marriage for Theroux and the second for Aniston. The two already have a dog named Sophie, and earlier, Aniston said she might want to add children.
Her age and human biology would probably mean the couple would need to attempt a pregnancy quickly. She does, of course, have plenty of funds for IVF and other types of medical assistance, if necessary.
Aniston and Theroux announced their engagement four months after Pitt and Jolie announced theirs. It is unclear if a wedding date for the couple has been set.
