Music can sometimes tell a story better than words alone. Come enjoy David DiGiuseppe and Diane Petteway share the joy of singing and storytelling during "A Bag of Songs and Stories" at Columbia Public Library this Thursday, March 14. From 7-7:45 p.m. in the Children's Program Room, bring the family and learn all about the stories behind musical instruments such as the accordion, banjo and Appalachian dulcimer. Get to hear choruses from traditional American songs and tales and just have fun. All ages are welcome. This tune-filled night is co-sponsored by Mid-Missouri Traditional Dancers as part of their Spring Breakdown Dance Weekend.
