Those stubborn clouds all day due to a stubborn warm front that barely pushed north of Center City today; we still managed to reach 77 around 3pm this afternoon at Philly International, but it wasn't the ideal May day. It was dreary and a bit humid as well.
Overnight there will be some fog with lows around the lower 60s; the fog dissipates in the morning, but we're overcast with showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs will be in the lower 80s(dependent on how much sunshine we see).
Showers and thunderstorms will clear out by the overnight with lows in the upper 60s while Mother's Day will be dry but continued mild with highs around 80 degrees! Hot mama! On Monday we'll make a run toward the upper 80s(depending on sunshine) with a warm front pushing northward....BUT this could be a huge bust as strong high pressure to the north may squash that front southward and prevent us from warming up. Right now I am going with that the front does push northward with some clouds, but then some light showers overnight into Tuesday as that front retreats southward. Highs by mid-week will be back into the seasonable lower 70s.
