A man's 132-pound carp catch has set a new world record and the photo has gone viral online. Keith Williams, from Surrey England, got a birthday gift that most could never imagine when a fishing trip reeled in an astronomical catch. MSN Now shared the details on Oct. 19.
Williams was on a fishing trip in Krabi, Thailand when the 132-pound carp was caught. When and if the fish is ratified by the International Game Fish Association, the catch by the 56-year-old Williams will become the new world record.
It seems Keith Williams had a feeling something special was going to happen on this trip, though even he surely couldn't have imagined something like this. Apparently it took 25 minutes to reel in the monster Siamese carp. Though Williams may have been expecting something big to happen, he was said to be in quite the daze after all was said and done.
Now there's a fisherman's tale that will be impossible to top. If it weren't for the picture of the 132-pound carp going viral, it seems highly unlikely his friends ever would have believed this one.
