University of Oklahoma School of Art hosts it's 99th Annual Student Art Show is now open, with just under 50 students exhibiting this year.
The exhibit displayed within the Fred Jones Museum of Art on the University of Oklahoma Campus, at the corner of Elm and Boyd, which is the furthest Northeast corner of the formal campus. www.ou.edu/fjjma, Just East of the North OVAL. The Fred Jones Museum of Art was expanded with the largest single private art collection donation every given to any University in North America a few years ago. It is three stories of art and furnishings. The building is impressive as well, with some memorable structural features inside and out.
The entire Fred Jones Museum of Art is always open free of admission to the public, with the hours being 10am til 5 pm all but Friday, when the museum is open until 9pm and Sunday, when hours begin at 1pm. Free admission has been provided by the Athletic Department donations and is available to anyone wishing to view the collections.
The School of Art and Art History at OU is under the direction of Dr. Mary Jo Watson https://www.ou.edu/content/finearts/art_arthistory/faculty_staff.html
