Atlanta has had an enormous amount of hockey successes this year with youth players developing at a rapid pace.
Arguably, the team that has excited Atlanta onlookers the most has been the Atlanta Phoenix AA squad.

The team of 99 birth year bantam players has succeeded in improving on their prior year performance and exceeding expectations on their way to a second state championship.

The Phoenix had an exceptional offensive year scoring a combined 368 goals to go along with an excellent won-loss record and 178 goals against during the regular season.

The teams 46-13-6 record caused a lot of conversation in youth hockey circles throughout Atlanta.
Marek Lipold led the team in scoring with 72 goals and 68 assists, followed by Connor Galloway with 53 goals and 84 assists and Jack Driggs followed closely with 62 goals and 62 assists.

The team also includes Brandon Hardeman, Matt Gagnon, Noah Fletcher, Jalen Wand, Christopher Linde, Pablo Palos, Carter Bilz, Dennis Contic, Jared Darrow, Tyler Megna, Steven Robinson and Alex Robertson.
The Phoenix will travel to New Jersey to compete in the National tournament on April 1-6.
