If you are a part of the 96% of the registered voters in Williamson County who have not yet cast your vote in the Primary Run-off Election, tomorrow, Tuesday, July 31st in your chance to weigh in on some important elections. In the Republican primary, you can vote in the US Senate race, which features Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst versus former Texas Solictor General Ted Cruz. The candidates for Texas Supreme Court are the incumbent Justice David Medina and former Harris County District Judge John Devine. For State Board of Education, we have a choice of Tom Maynard, a former teacher and school board member who now heads the Texas FFA versus Rebecca Osborne, a teacher at McNeil HS in Round Rock. Two spots are up for Railroad Commissioner, which regulates the oil and gas industry, despite the name of the agency. Barry Smitherman, recently appointed to the commission, is a former banker and lawyer from the Houston area who is running against Comal County Commissioner Greg Parker, a former member of the US Army, for an unexpired term. For a full term, State Representative Warren Chisum (R-Pampa), a long serving member from West Texas who has been in the oil and gas business for decades is facing Christi Craddick, daughter of former Speaker of the Texas House Tom Craddick, who is an attorney for oil and gas issues. And, if you live in certain voting precincts, you could have a contested precinct chair race, such as in Pct. 190, Paul Fronczek is campaigning hard for re-election against Maxine Gammon. Paul is a local business owner and long-time Republican.

Due to the expected lower turn-out, some of the polling locations have been combined for cost savings. Here is a list of locations for those living in Williamson County Pct. One:
