Good news! "90210" will return for the 2011-2012 season, according to the CW Network.
The network announced early pickups for the next TV season of "90210," along with "Gossip Girl," "The Vampire Diaries," "Supernatural," and "America's Next Top Model," in a press release.
The fourth season of "90210" will likely follow the gang starting their freshman year of college, since they are currently in their senior year for season three. And if the show follows the original "Beverly Hills, 90210," Naomi, Annie, and friends will attend fictional California University (CU) as did Kelly, Donna, and the original gang. CU has been mentioned by the characters and Naomi even dated a guy at CU (which was filmed at a different location than on the original show.)
One thing that has been confirmed is that actress Lori Loughlin, who plays Annie and Dixon's mom, Debbie Wilson, and Ryan Eggold, who plays West Beverly Hills High School teacher Ryan Matthews, are both leaving the show.
What do you think should happen with the "90210" gang in season four? Will everyone go to college? Will anyone move into a beach house (by the way, the beach house used on the original show is for sale again.) Share your thoughts below.
"90210" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. eastern on the CW network.
