90-days till summer wild self-acceptance warm up

We can be very good at dishing out large scoops of kindness toward others, but when it comes to self loving spoonfuls we often fall short, and cry. Before you can gain access to healthier ways for your body you must shine the kindness spotlight inward and wildly accept who you are at this moment.

Stop looking at what you think are your inner tubes, cellulite, bulges, acne, thinning hairs and luxuriate in your boundless glory of self. See the beauty of your being, you are so much more than just a shell called a body that houses your many body systems. For whatever reason you find yourself here today willing to exercise and make it a daily practice, you are beautiful. You must share compassion from the inside out.

Stop the preoccupation with what media tells you is “the image” of a man or of a woman and obsess instead over being in your own self-satisfied story. No longer living in the past and no longer pushing and working toward a future, appreciate your humans body for what it is. You were given the body you have for a reason relish it and live in it. The number of zits on your face and size of your body parts do not make the man or woman.

When you are beating up on yourself, self-criticizing find your way to take away your weapons of destruction, and just hold “her.” Shift from the pusher to the nurturer. Shift happens.
