On Sunday, October 27, 2013, the 8th Annual Supergroup Concert to benefit Right Turn Addiction Services will take place at Club Royale. This years all star cast include three Grammy winning performers: Trombone Shorty, Joan Osborne and Paula Cole. Also in the evening's line up are Barry Goudreau formerly of the band Boston, blues man James Montgomery, David Hull of the Joe Perry Project, Glen David Andrews of New Orleans, Simon Kirke of Bad Company, Woody Giessmann of The Del Fuegos, Shea Rose and Marty Richards of the J. Geils Band. Host for the evening is Boston's own Steve Sweeney.
Right Turn provides medication assisted treatment in a creative environment. The program also provides transitional housing and out patient treatment.
This years Supergroup Concert is to help raise money for a transitional housing program for women in 2014 similar to the men's residential facility home. The transitional housing program for men, provides supervised housing for seven men and emphasizes the development of life skills and healthy relationships. Interaction with mentors and sober companions is an alternative to the traditional residential drug rehab facility.
VIP Booths with Meet and Greet packages start at $2000. The meet and greet begins at 5:30 pm and is being catered by Jasper White of the Summer Shack Restaurant Group and the cooking network. VIP Meet and Greet tickets: $100. General admission tickets: $40. Show begins at 7:00 pm
