This year's Oscars features some of the biggest stars in movies vying for the biggest awards in entertainment, but also has its fair share of controversy as well.
The biggest controversy heading into the 85th annual Academy Awards is the absence of Ben Affleck from the Best Director category. Affleck won the Golden Globes and Director's Guild award as the Best Director for "Argo," however he did not even make the five-name short list for the Oscars, with names like first-time feature director Benh Zeitlin ("Beasts of the Southern Wild") taking his place.
However, Affleck still has "Argo" in competition for Best Film and hopes to play spoiler in the biggest category of the night. As the Oscars goes on, this page will update with the winners, so be sure to save the page to your bookmarks and once the ceremony starts, refresh your browser to see the winners of the 85th annual Academy Awards as they happen.
