8-year-old Logan Ivey, admitted on Sunday, that he threw a cookie at a Dollar General Store employee in Wrightville, Ga.
Logan says he was walking down the aisle when a clerk, later identified as Emilia Graciela Bell, came up to him and called him a demon. Logan responded by saying, "I'll show you bad," and threw a cookie at her.
Logan takes off and tries to hide behind a counter, but Bell finds him and whips him with her belt.
"It felt like five needles were sticking in me," Logan told WMAZ.
Logan was in the store with his mother and sister but they did not see the spanking, according to the Wrightsville Police Chief Paul Sterling.
Bell was charged with battery but it may be upgraded to aggravated assault according to Sterling, after he watched the surveillance video that shows Logan was hit about 25 times with the belt. Sterling stated that Logan was running around the store before he was confronted by Bell.
Bell admitted to police that after Logan threw a cookie at her she removed her belt and chased him down and spanked him behind the counter.
Earlier accounts of the story said that Logan threw a cookie jar at Bell, but during a news interview, the boy said he threw a cookie.
