Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, at the Fletcher Opera Theater. The Carolina Ballet brings this classical canon to life February 13 to March 2.

Raleigh Museums

The North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences presents Birds of Paradise: Amazing Avian Evolution, daily through March 23, 2014. Discover the unique wonders of this colorful species native only to New Guinea and Australia.

The North Carolina Museum of Art shares Close to Home: A Decade of Acquisitions. This special exhibit highlights works by North Carolinians in a variety of mediums.

The North Carolina Museum of History shares the Tsar’s Cabinet and Windows into Heaven, two exhibits that offer a glimpse into Russia’s Imperial past. With the Winter Olympics headed to Sochi, this exhibit is quite timely. It runs through March 5.
