8 Eggciting Eggstravanganzas happening on the Treasure Coast

Spring break 2013 has begun! With Easter just a week away, Easter egg hunts are starting early. For each event, kids must remember their baskets and parents must remember to bring their cameras...there will be moments to capture! Here are 8 "Egg-citing Egg-stravaganzas" taking place on the Treasure Coast!

March 23, 2013

1. The Well Community Church is joining with the Port Saint Lucie Botanical Gardens to bring a FREE community Easter egg hunt, 10am - 12pm. Kids 3 to 10 years old will enjoy bounce houses, snow cones, pop corn and collecting colorful Easter eggs. 2410 SE Westmoreland Blvd., Port St Lucie

2. Mulligan's of Vero Beach hosts their 54th Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Get there on time because this event is set to begin promptly at 10am. Parents are asked to bring a donation of 6 empty plastic eggs. Kids up to 9 years old will enjoy face painting and the Easter Bunny. 1025 Beachland Blvd., Vero Beach

3. Mix an egg hunt with water play! At the North County Aquatic Center, children up to 8 years old will hunt for Easter eggs floating in the swimming area. Event begins at 6:30pm. 4. Indian River continues to impress with their creative egg hunts. The Gifford Youth Activities Center hosts an indoor flashlight egg hunt at 7:45pm. The lights will be off and kids 12 and younger will use their flashlights to look for Easter eggs (bring your flashlights!). 4875 43rd Avenue, Gifford

6. Port Saint Lucie continues their annual Eggstravaganza at Whispering Pines Park. Parents don't be late, this event begins promptly at 9am! Over 14,000 plastic eggs will be waiting for a basket and the Easter bunny will be there for you to take photos with! 800 SW Darwin Blvd., Port St Lucie

7. In Stuart, the 14th Annual Easter Fair and Egg Hunt takes place at Flagler Park. From 10am - 1pm, kids and their families will enjoy food, fun and activities! 201 SW Flagler Avenue, Stuart

8. 2nd Corinthians Outreach Ministries presents their Easter Family Fun Day at Sandhill Crane Park. Event is from 1pm - 4pm and includes an egg hunt at 1pm sharp, an Easter bunny, a DJ, bounce houses, face painting and so much more! Not only will kids collect easter eggs, they will play games for a chance to win prizes that include bicycles and MP3 players!
