7th Annual Detail Fest

Date: Saturday, March 24, 2012 Sunday, March 25, 2012
Start Time: 9:00 am   End Time: 4:00 pm

On March 24-25, 2012, the best-kept secret on the Treasure Coast will be racing into Stuart! For one weekend only, thousands of automotive enthusiasts and detailing professionals from all over the globe will converge and celebrate their passion….cars! Detail Fest is a two-day event featuring live entertainment by Tommy Winch, food, car shows, product demonstrations, and mini detailing classes. Building on the success of the past six-year’s events, Autogeek is anticipating an even higher attendance this year, providing more of an opportunity to introduce fans and professionals to trade giants and industry celebrities. A portion of the proceeds from the 2012 Detail Fest will benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast.

On Saturday, the event will host a juried car show, and awards presentation. Detail Fest creates an environment where anyone can approach, ask questions, and talk directly to manufacturers, and meet and get autographs from celebrities such as, Dennis Gage, Matt Steele, Bruno Massel, Mike Phillips, and more! Dennis Gage the host of My Classic Car will also host two hour-long autograph sessions on Saturday, and he will interact with vendors while filming his show for the SPEED Channel. Matt Steele is the host of the wildly popular television show, TruckU, and owner of Trucks Gone Wild. Bruno Massel is the co-host of TruckU, and is the driver of Autogeek’s National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) car. Massel won the NHRA Drag Racing World Championship in 2009, and also picked up both "Driver of the Year" and Divisional Championships, an All-Stars title, as well as reset his own national record while collecting the highest championship point total in the history of the category in which he competes. Mike Phillips, host of the second season of Autogeek’s What's In The Garage? and author of The Art of Detailing, will be signing his book and talking with vendors as FOX Sports Network films an episode of the show.

On Sunday, the Car Club Show will feature groups like the Mustang, Porsche, Miata, Corvette, and Camaro Clubs. Autogeek will also be giving company tours throughout the weekend through their newly expanded facility. Both days will also highlight a car corral featuring many of the 45 cars that were used during the taping of the second season of Autogeek’s What's In The Garage?

The event is FREE, and open to the public; providing a chance for enthusiasts, vendors, and customers to come together to enjoy a weekend of detail tips, and demos, all to share their passion for cars and detailing. Hours are 9:00a – 4:00p on Saturday, and 9:00a – 4:00p on Sunday. The event will be held at 7744 Jack James Drive in Stuart, FL. Join us for food, drink, wash stations, Mike Phillip’s classes (pre-registration required), refinishing system demonstrations, polisher & buffer demonstrations, facility tours, sanding demonstrations, dent/ding demonstrations, hands-on training, and much, much more!
