Mitsubishi Heavy Manufacturing informed Boeing of a potential manufacturing defect in the wings of the 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

According to the Seattle Times, "Mitsubishi informed Boeing in February that 'a change in their manufacturing process may have led to hairline cracks in a limited number of shear ties on a wing rib in the 787.'"

This is another setback for Boeing. Previously, a battery defect grounded the fleet of Dreamliners.
