The 72nd Annual Camellia Flower Show will be held in Santa Clara at the Community Center located at 969 Kiely Boulevard, on February 23 and February 24, 2013, with over 70 exhibitors and more than 3,000 varieties of camellia flower blooms. In addition to this spectacular Camellia Show, there will also be an Art Show sponsored by the Santa Clara Arts Association who will be participating with a variety of art on display that is horticultural-inspired.
This year's Camellia and Art Show will be absolutely amazing with more camellia and flower blooms and varieties than ever before from larger table to miniature size to assorted colors and varieties. And, the art on display will be a host of incredible art that horticulturists and garden lovers won’t want to miss.
Also, those interested in entering their blooms from their own gardens will have a chance to brag as well; camellia lovers are encouraged to enter their blooms on the first day of the show. Entries will be accepted on February 23, 2013, from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. with children encouraged to enter their blooms as well as judging will occur in both adult and youth categories. Camellia Society Members will be on hand to help identify and place all entries.
And don't forget that this show follows one of the most romantic days of the year so perhaps it would be a wonderful way to surprise your Valentine with a future date card for this event for a Camellia Show and Art Show combination – your date won’t be disappointed. And, perhaps as an added surprise, since a rose is just a rose and a camellia bush or tree lasts forever, how about giving your sweetheart a camellia bush for Valentine's Day and then just a few weeks later enter it in the show? You never know what the outcome will bring, and it could be an award-winner. Not to mention the extra points you score with your sweetheart could be invaluable just for being interested in something they enjoy!

Entries will be accepted on the first day of the Camellia and Art Show, on February 23, 2013, from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Folks with amazing and interesting blooms should enter their blooms, especially children as there are youth categories in addition to adult categories.
